HOW TO PLAY @ ALC.CA
Playing ShaBam at ALC.ca is simple.
1. Sign in to ALC.ca and under the “Draw” menu, click ShaBam. A play area will come up.

2. From the drop down menu, choose the number of ShaBam purchases you want. Each $1 play is eligible for both an instant win at the time of purchase and for the nightly draw.
3. The Advance Play feature on ShaBam is unique to ALC.ca, you cannot purchase advance plays at retail locations. You can purchase for future draws by choosing the number of advance plays you want from the drop-down menu. You can play from 2 up to 10 consecutive draws. For an additional $1, you can add a TAG to your ticket. What is TAG? You can play TAG up to 2 times on each ticket.
4. Once you confirm your purchase, a pop-up will appear to tell you if you won instantly. If you won on the instant portion, the pop will say ‘You Just Won $XX. ShaBam! Find out more’. If you click on ‘Find out more’ you will be redirected to your transaction details page that will give you specific information on your instant win. If you did not win instantly, the pop up will say ‘Sorry, You did not win instantly on ShaBam. Good Luck on the Draw!’.
5. Your wager is considered official when it appears in your Transaction Detail as “completed”. You can print out you wager from here if you wish, but it’s not necessary. We will check your numbers for you! If you are a winner on either the instant component and/or the draw component, we will notify you by email and in your Messages link at ALC.ca.

HOW TO PLAY @ RETAIL
1. It’s easy, just ask your lottery retailer for a ShaBam ticket.
2. Each $1 play is eligible for both an instant win at the time of purchase and for the nightly draw. Watch the customer display screen, it will let you know if you won or not by displaying your results on the screen. If you won, the terminal will also congratulate you with a ‘Woohoo ShaBam!’
3. For an additional $1, you can add a TAG to your ticket. What is TAG? You can play TAG up to 2 times on each ticket.

How To Win
There are two ways to win on a ShaBam ticket.
Win Instantly
Your printed ticket will have a rectangle directly above the draw numbers. The rectangle will have one of the following messages printed inside:
1. Instant Win $20
2. Instant Win $10
3. Instant Win $5
4. Instant Win $1
5. Not an Instant Winner
Win on the nightly draw
Win a prize by matching five, four, three or two numbers straight across.

Overall odds of winning a prize are 1:5.5
*For each draw, ALC reserves the right to limit the total amount of prizes payable in the 5 of 5 Winning Selection (Prize Level 1) to $100,000. If the limit is reached (or exceeded) for that prize category, prizes payable in that category will be determined by dividing the total prize amount for the category ($100,000) by the total number of winners for the category.
