100% Profits Go Back

2011/12 saw us accomplish many milestones, helping us deliver on our vision of Making Atlantic Canada a Better Place.

One of the ways we do that is by giving back 100% of our profit to the four provincial governments - $369 million this year.

Shareholders

In 2011-2012, we returned $369.6 million to our four shareholders.

	Nova Scotia	$126.9 million
	New Brunswick	$120 million
	Newfoundland & Labrador	$107.8 million
	Prince Edward Island	$ 14.9 million

	TOTAL	$369.6 million

We also awarded $362 million in prizes back to our players and $127 million in commissions to our retailers. We gave back in other ways as well, sponsoring nearly 60 events across the four provinces.

Where does the money go? We get asked that a lot! All profit goes back to our communities. Every penny. No exceptions. It’s used for things like social programs, roads, and education.
